Jamye Chapman, President & CEO

Jamye Chapman is a visionary equity leader, best-selling author, and CEO of the Inner Peace Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to transforming organizations through human-centered solutions. With over 15 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, public policy, and organizational transformation, Jamye has dedicated his career to bridging what he calls the “Empathy Gap” – the space between different contexts that prevents us from truly seeing one another’s humanity.

Growing up in an inner-city community that has historically been marginalized, Jamye understands firsthand the importance of institutions committed to helping society evolve into a better version of itself. This lived experience anchors his commitment to health equitization, strategic innovation, and effective policy development, driving him to create systems where all people can thrive.

Jamye’s trademarked framework, (J+E=D+I) ARRIVED™, articulates his innovative approach to organizational transformation. This comprehensive methodology emphasizes:

  • Awareness
  • Recognition
  • Research & Investigation
  • Imagination & Visualization
  • Value Engineering
  • Execution
  • Deliberation

The framework goes beyond policy and leadership – it’s about people. Jamye strives to move past “equity” buzzwords, instead cultivating authentic connections and creating psychologically safe spaces where forgiveness and empathy can overcome the fear of difference.

In his best-selling book, “Evolve Your We: From Courage to Connection in a Divided World,” Jamye explores how sustainable change requires both courageous individual commitment and systematic transformation. His published works include:

  • Comprehensive Medicaid Data Equity Plan
  • Community Advisory Board & Medicaid Agency Engagement Impact Toolkit
  • Beneficiary Advisory Committee Landscape Assessment Guide
  • Multiple policy briefs and white papers on healthcare innovation and equity-centered program design

A sought-after public speaker, Jamye has presented at major healthcare conferences including:

  • NASHP Annual Conference
  • NAMD Annual Conference
  • PhARMA Health Equity Symposium

Jamye’s work demonstrates that when we acknowledge our shared humanity, we build stronger communities that benefit everyone. His approach centers on the belief that true transformation requires operating at the intersection of policy and human connection. Health outcomes will be sustainable only when characterized by a human-centered dynamic of attentiveness and understanding – the sort that looks beyond policy measures and data to perceive the needs that such impersonal measures fail to capture.

Today, Jamye works with both public and private organizations to implement his framework, transforming theoretical understanding into practical action. By combining rigorous analysis with deeply human-centered methods, he guides institutions toward creating environments where all people can thrive.
Whether through executive coaching, strategic planning, or organizational assessment, Jamye brings a unique combination of strategic vision, practical implementation experience, and deep commitment to authentic community engagement to every partnership.
